Official Race Rules

All participants must adhere to the following rules and regulations to ensure safety and fair competition. These rules are based on the All-American Soap Box Derby standards with local modifications.

Note: All cars must be built from an official kit or approved plans. Scratch-built cars must be pre-approved by the technical committee at least 30 days before the race.

Race Day Procedures

●All Times are approximate and subject to race day changes●
  1. Check-in: All participants must check in by 8:00 AM
  2. Driver Meeting: Mandatory meeting at 8:30 AM
  3. Opening Ceremonies: Recognition of Native territories and opening ceremony festivies, starts at 8:45 AM
  4. Racing Begins: First heat starts at 9:00 AM
  5. Lunch Break: 12:00 PM
  6. Resume Racing: Begin at 1:00 PM
  7. Awards: Approximately 4:00 PM
